Rêves et cauchemars aux premiers temps du cinéma

Dès ses tout premiers temps, le cinéma se sentira une affinité certaine avec le rêve. Provoqué par un estomac trop chargé, par les angoisses quotidiennes ou, le plus souvent, par l’imagination enfiévrée d’un artiste, le rêve apparaît comme un double idéal du spectacle cinématographique, libre de toute convention et des lois de la logique (GRAFICS, 2006).
